The inspiration for this series started with a katana. I was interested in combining elements of destruction and elegance—using different shapes and forms to express that contrast visually. At first, I didn’t plan to include any accessories, especially not bags, but while experimenting with shape and texture, the idea shifted. The cow-printed bag, for example, wasn’t added as a fashion piece but for the way its form worked with the overall concept—bringing both softness and a subtle sense of harm into the frame.
The red was a key element—used to create a striking accent alongside the katana, while also contrasting sharply with the black. It helped emphasize the tension between elegance and intensity that runs through the series.
It’s one of those shoots I truly wasn’t sure would come to life. But in the end, it did—to some extent—and I hope you can see that. The series became something more layered than I expected, where visual tension plays quietly between elegance and impact.
